HEALTH AWARENESS

The Importance of Prevention

Our Health Awareness program is to sensitize the population about the importance of prevention of widespread diseases and the distribution of products to fight against them. To do this, we implemented six projects in Africa, America and Europe.
Our Seven Projects:
  1. Malaria Prevention
  2. Dental Hygiene Awareness
  3. Health Material Distribution
  4. Heart Disease Prevention
  5. Children Malnutrition
  6. Dirty Hands Disease Prevention
  7.  AIDS Prevention
Malaria Prevention
- Raising awareness about malaria and helping people to clean up the environment that favor mosquito breeding (standing water, trash).
- Fumigation of mosquitoes in homes and public places.
- Distribution of insecticide to eliminate impregnated mosquito nests.
- Distribution of medications against malaria.
Dental Hygiene Awareness
- Organization of oral hygiene campaigns and oral screenings in schools and other public places by distributing flyers, tracts, etc.
- Teaching of proper oral care techniques.
- Distribution of dental hygiene products.
Health Material Distribution
Because many healthcare facilities in developing countries lack access to appropriate material and medicines, Well Being for All is providing hospitals with tools and equipment to help mitigate the need for better quality of care. It is to this cause that Well Being for All, in partnership with MedWish, has been able to provide material and medicine to La Borne clinic for the benefit of tens of thousands of people living in the much populated area of Binza, in the city of Kinshasa
Heart Disease Prevention
- Organization of heart disease awareness campaigns in schools and other public places.
- Organization of free consultations (blood pressure measurement, diagnosis).
- Distribution of flyers that raise awareness about cardiovascular disease in universities, colleges, schools and workplaces.
Children Malnutrition
- Reaching mothers of malnourished children on methods of prevention and treatment against malnutrition.
- Distribution of balanced and enriched food so that children who suffer from malnutrition recover.
Dirty Hands Disease Prevention
- Distribution of flyers that raise awareness about different disease of dirty hands in market places, bus stops, schools and other public places.
- Distribution of medication against amoeba and typhoid fever in schools and other places.
AIDS Prevention
